Data usage with a BetterRoaming iPad plan
How much data do I have left?
You can find out how much data you have left by going to your home screen and selecting Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data > Manage BetterRoaming Account.
Here, you can find out how much remaining data you have, as well as how many days are left in your current plan.
It may happen that your remaining data allowance appears different on the Mobile/Cellular data settings menu and your BetterRoaming account screen. If this happens, please refer to the number on the BetterRoaming account screen.
How can I view my data usage statistics?
You can find out how much data certain apps are using by going to Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data. Below Apps by Usage you will see the total data usage per app.
This is calculated for any mobile data plans you have used on your iPad. You can reset the statistics by tapping Reset Statistics at the bottom of the screen whenever you buy a new plan.
Can I Use 4G?
We currently offer 4G data speeds in many of our supported countries. We are currently working to roll 4G/5G speeds out to all supported countries.
To enable 4G/5G on your device from your home screen, select Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data > Mobile/Cellular Data Options > 5G Auto, 5G On and LTE. Please note, you don't need to select enable Data Roaming for your plan to work.
